SILENCED: 2012 

A Performance Art Spectacle to be performed at 
the DUMBO Arts Festival in DUMBO Brooklyn.

SILENCED: 2012 is a performance work, executed by me in response to each and every voice that has been suppressed both here and around the world through lies, manipulations, misrepresentations, intimidation, force, bullying, abuse (both mental and physical), violence, rape, murder, assassination and death.

I invite you to go a day without speaking and consider the voices,ideas, hopes and possibilities that have been lost throughout time by the hands of others.

Helium filled balloons with notes of hope created by the public will be released at sunset by the waters edge at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
